New Makeup Brands vs Old Makeup Brands

Just heard that Christian Louboutin will have his own cosmetic line, just like Tom Ford, YSL and so many other brands....and Louboutin will be partnering with Batallure Beauty LLC.

Christian Louboutin is known for the "red-sole", and who doesn't want to own one of those beautiful shoes?! BUT talking about beauty line, I'm not sure it will be any different that other brands, like Tom Ford, Burberry, YSL...etc, the difference of these companies are Fashion made Beauty- which means, they do not have any cosmetic producing background, but since they see that beauty market is a huge market out there which can reach so many levels of the society and definitely more affordable than fashion, so WHY NOT?!

Now, my concern is, despite the design of the packaging, a little twist of the color from other brands, the synthetic perfume in the lipsticks or foundation might be more stand out from the crowd (just guessing here) Is Louboutin really making a "different" beauty line compare with the other brands?!

By the meaning of different, we are talking about ingredients, not the packaging and all human creation kind of different, we are concern about the actual product quality. When Chanel and YSL and so many other individual companies' beauty lines are owned by L'oreal,  some said they are baked from the same bakery, some said they still have their own bakery, we as outsider, wouldn't know too much of what is happening in the plant. BUT one thing we can be sure that is, whatever they are making, is not the best for our health, not just lipsticks, even so they claimed that leads could be impurities and it is hard to detect even with a machine, but if a company cannot guarantee that these toxic chemical can be detoxed out of our body, which means that they can be / are accumulative, and to a point which could be harmful, so why should we choose something that has potential hazard to us? It is not a matter of "I need to see it to believe it is true", when you SAW this happened, it could be too late, so why don't we avoid all the potential hazard?! Don't forget that everyone is unique, so is our body, we could have different reaction to a component. So you think this might not be hazard to you, but this could be hazardous to someone else. BUT when the science report has pointed out the fact that they are harmful, why do we choose to ignore that fact?

I've found some articles talking about mascara and foundation.

Here is another source where you can see how toxic the shampoo/makeup/ lotion we are using: http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/

By no means we would like to scare you with this article/blog, we are here to present fact, and you can disagree of course. Our goal is to bring awareness to people on what they are "taking" into their body or what their body is absorbing. Packaging of products is a way to market it, to make it more outstanding and mark up the price, but this doesn't reflect the products' quality itself.

Organic makeup lines

When people say that organic or mineral makeup is now a trend...would you agree or not?!

If you say it's a trend, which means that this "trend" will become outdated one day, just like some retro clothing or accessories back then...from our parents or even grandparents generation...and make a come back 20 years later... and company trying to sell organic/ mineral products these days are just trying to own some market shares out there? I wouldn't deny that there are definitely some companies are trying to get their share on the market when they spotted this trend...BUT some have been doing organic/ mineral products all the way...since they started the company...wouldn't they worried that this "trend" will be outdated and they will be out of biz one day too?!

We personally don't believe that it is a trend, BUT this is a new concept that will be used in every day life sooner or later, which means , there will be organic clothing... which there are already for babies, organic living like veggies and fruit, because natural products are simply not good enough to protect us as they are being injected with different GMOs Who would want to have some scorpion GMO in their body...like Scorpion cabbage?!  or  GMO Corn ? Anyone?! Hence, natural products was "HOT" in the market few years back...or still HOT but Organic is just one step further to protect our body....
For us, going Organic is NOT  a choice, it's necessary to go Organic to be able to protect ourselves fully. Thanks to the advanced technology. We are able to enjoy Organic products from head to toe, even makeup!!
DON'T start questioning if they are good or not if you have never tried... there are a lot of organic beauty lines out there, which means, whatever color you need, there will be companies that have the products that you looking for... just go out there and try!! i.e. organic pharmacy (UK), Nvey Eco (Australian Brand, it was used in global awards), lavera (Germany Brand) , Couleur Caramel (French) , RMS Beauty (US)....etc

Lavera Style & Care Gel

All lines have great collection of colors and they are very high pigmented!! So, don't look down on organic makeup or have bias against them, because, they are here for a reason, one of the reasons could be, excessive lead in traditional lipsticks so why not go for an organic and natural one so that no toxic goes into your precious body?!

So what's your thought on these organic makeup?? A trend? Or it is THE MAKEUP in the future?!
One thing we can assure you is that, you will regret if you don't try it... it is LITERALLY no harm to try...so WHY NOT ?!

Organic for Babies and Moms??

Being a Mom is never easy, when a woman got pregnant, she will need to start taking really good care of herself ... For instance, is the mom-to-be eating properly? Is she having a balanced diet?? Is she getting enough exercise?? And for whatever products she is using, she needs to be aware of the ingredients as whatever her body is absorbing, her baby is absorbing too!!

Once, there was a nurse told me that, her baby is having some kind of allergy and that she had to take the baby to visit the dermatologist to find out what is wrong, guess what?! The Dr said, because of so many addictive being added to all products, hence people get allergic very easily these days. so he suggested the baby should avoid using any chemical product to help getting rid of the allergies. The Dr also mentioned that, years ago, allergies were not that popular, because there were less addictive, as the technologies are more advanced, more addictive are added to create different effect for a products, say artificial perfume, more preserving agent to make the goods last longer, thickening agent in shampoo/ shower (concept is, the more foam it is, the cleaner you think you will be)

When you think about it, it's true. For eating habits, women who are pregnant wouldn't eat a lot of things...like chilly, cause the baby will be eating chilly too as it goes straight to your blood stream... same theory goes to body care for babies and moms.

For mom-to-be,  you may find some stretch marks on your belly and will get some cream or body oil to get rid of it, BUT, you should be careful on what you are putting on their body/ belly, chemicals should be avoided.. even if it works... would you want your baby to absorb those unknown chemical ingredients? I suggest that you start with organic ones, to use the safest products on your belly. Organic products made with essential oil will have a natural moisturizing effect and some could even have calming effect!! Don't have bias towards organic and think it is just a gimmick. When you found a good company with their products registered as certified organic, you can trust them, Organic ingredients should be chemical free... Meaning- No pesticides or GMO being used during the planting period of the ingredients. You wouldn't want to go Natural (which is half way natural as there could be GMO) then your baby will be absorbing those GMO?! just a guess but the thought is quite disturbing.

For babies to use natural/ organic product is for their best, this could help eliminating chances of babies having allergies and organic product have some good stuff for prone to allergy skin too!!

The theory of Food and Products being used on baby or pregnant woman are the same, just be careful on what you're eating/ putting on your skin, those that will absorb into your body will be absorbed by your baby. And as fragile as a baby is, they should really be protected from harmful chemical ingredients, DON'T soak them into chemicals one they are born...

WHY ORGANIC?!!!!

NEWS FLASH!!! There are toxic gingers in China!! If you think this is the only chemical filled food, I say you're 100% wrong. With that much food needs to be produced in short period of time to feed the world, ginger is just one thing that they found out today that has been exported. Don't know where they will be exported or which countries will import ginger or other food from China, but apparently, showering food with pesticides is the way to go to keep food "Fresh" for merchant who wants to earn a lot of money...
It is just one news article, not trying to scare the public, but I think it's time for us to think, what is good and safe for us- Human Body... the "Natural" one... or the genuine Organic food?? Should we take one step further from " Natural food/ ingredients" and start consuming Organic products to ensure our health and safety?

Confusing Customers??

During my last blog, I mentioned the reason why I would only sell "Certified Organic" Product, one of the reasons is to ensure the quality of the product is up to certain standard as well as to ensure the majority of the ingredients are from organic farming. Second reason, is to differentiate TRUE organic and the FAKE ones...

Since Organic is the trend, commercial merchant want to get some market share off the Organic market, so they always state that their products are organic and made with organic ingredients, but HOW MANY PERCENTAGE of the ingredients are indeed ORGANIC????  You can claim a product as an "Organic Product" when they have one ingredient that is from organic farming or one organic essential oil. THUS, having the product as "Certified Organic" is Crucial.

Of course, everything cost money, especially if you would like to have each and every product being "Certified Organic" it will cost tons of money, which means, sometimes small companies cannot afford the cost. That doesn't matter, any merchant who sells TRUE organic products will have every ingredient listed clearly on the label, which they will also indicate which ingredient(s) is/ are organic and which isn't. THEN, it's up to the consumer to decide whether they should try out those products.

Some companies will just be confusing customers with their name!! How so? By naming the brand Organic this or that, but BRAND NAME DOES NOT reflect the product ingredients itself!!

Check out this page, then you will get a clearer idea. End phony labeling!!

Now that you have been told how to identify the TRUE organic products, you should know how to choose your organic brand.

Why did I go organic??

Nvey Eco Advanced Care Lip color

As the owner of The Organics Boutique, I  of course believe that Organic/ Natural products can be as effective as the traditional mass market products, whether they are skin care or just table cleaning product... as you know during the ancient years, people were using lemon juice or vinegar to clean or to bleach or to eliminate odor and it worked wonder...

But why would I believe in Organic and WHY did I sell these products... answer is simple, they are made with natural resource, that we could eat and digest... it has to be save, that is why i chose organic instead of natural. Who knows if the "natural" is truly natural? They could have been GMO'ed. The only way I can ensure the ingredients being used are truly Natural is by choosing Organic, better yet, certified organic. I know people have doubt on the effectiveness, to be frank, before I experiment any organic products, that was exactly what I was thinking, why should I purchase Organic facial cream when the price is higher and I don't even know if it will work, the thing is, you will never know if you never step out and try.

I only go for certified organic because there is organization monitoring these products which means that they have to have certain % of organic ingredients and it cannot have harsh chemicals in the products, so I thought, if it doesn't work, at least I don't have any unknown harsh chemicals in my blood stream that cannot be let out of the body system... who knows... look at the lipsticks these days, there are loads of report stated that some commercial cosmetic brands' lipsticks contain excessive lead, of course those companies would be saying that tiny amount of lead wouldn't harm human body, but who knows if it can be released out from our body or it will keep on accumulating inside our system.

Those companies wouldn't tell us what chemicals that they used have exceeded the regulation/standard, SO, today we found out that there're excessive leads in lipsticks, there might be other excessive chemicals in foundation or mascara or whatsoever, my concern is, what if these chemicals accumulate over time in our body, how will our body be affected?! Like Western medicine, there will be side effects but it won't show right away!!

While cosmetic and skincare can be made out of Organic ingredients, then why not try them out?! There are loads of Organic Brands out there and I am sure you can find what you need too !! They don't have to be pricey. (Brand suggestions? Low- mid price range: Lavera, Burt's Bees, Mid-High price range: Mukti, Nvey Eco, Juice Beauty, Pangea Organics...etc)

Think again before you buy, you're buying your health...
